Janet Moore

A solo exhibition of layered abstract works exploring connection, memory, and what lies beneath the surface.

June 5 – 28, 2026
Opening Reception: June 5 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
“My approach of layering whichever media I have selected delves into what appears on the surface and also what lies beneath.”

Janet Moore’s work carries the viewer into a deeply felt visual language of earth, memory, and transformation. Richly layered and intuitively constructed, these paintings invite quiet reflection while holding a powerful physical presence.

About the Exhibition

Over the course of a 40-year career, Janet Moore has explored many ways of making art, guided by a deep interest in connection, perception, and the layered nature of experience.

Working across painting, mixed media, and sculptural approaches, her work reflects an intuitive process—translating what is seen and felt through gesture, material, and surface.

Vessel presents a body of abstract work that explores containment, movement, and what lies beneath the visible surface.
